Here are a few pictures from Broken Bow Lake in Oklahoma. This was my first time at this lake and I have to say I was highly impressed. The lake is pure glass the entire day with absolutely no one around. The lake almost seems like it has never been touched before. We rode in a cove for 4 days straight and we saw 3-4 boats (mainly bass boats) pass by us the entire 4 days we were out on the water. We had a lot of stoke in the boat the entire time we were there. My 5yr old nephew and 9yr old niece got up on the wakeboard the first try and rode pretty much the entire cove (about 1/2 mile long). My wife also got back on the wakeboard after a 3 year hiatus when our daughter was born. And lastly, I finally landed my Blind 180. The cabin we stayed was in the middle of the forest and I have to say towing a 6k boat and trailer up steep hills with a 100ft drop off is pretty damn nerve racking, especially when you start to slide down hill. All in all this has been my favorite place to ride thus far and I'd recommend anyone going out there, you wont be disappointed.

Thanks for sharing! Great Pics! BTW, what would you think about adding a forum called "Places to Go". Members could post their experiences under the title of the place, complete with directions and places to stay. Sort of like a travel directory.
It seems like a lot of members share their experiences and actually meet up sometimes through this forum, so it might be appropriate.

Eufaula is prob. one of the best boarding lakes in the country. It's the largest man made lake in the U.S. Tons of arms, so tons of coves. It's over 75 miles long, so your bound to find good boarding somewhere. You will actually find OK's largest concentration of Tige's there. Not that we really have many here...lol.
Do not stray far unless you have someone with you who knows that lake. You WILL get lost! Keep an eye on your depth sounder when in coves. Especially now w/ the water up over 21ft. There's bound to be tons of hidden hazards, that normally are way above the water. Part of the lake is really pretty, and the other half is REALLY red. The cut is a blast if your ready to party. But I'm not sure it's not underwater right now.
We had a 100yr rainfall this year, as you guys have, and the lakes are in bad shape.
Dents,
I've had this Tige since Labor Day of 05'. It's an 06' Tige 24V, solid white, w/ a grey hull. I never go to draper, it's just soooo red. I went for the first time this year about a month and a half ago, and prob. won't go back. I stay at dirty bird during the regular weeks, sometimes Arcadia. Then usually Tenkiller and rarely Texoma on the major holidays. There's actually a pic of my boat in the Classifieds here. Of course shortly, I'll be running an all black Tige.
I would go out this weekend, but my trailer is out of commision until Monday. Although I'm probably getting stuck going to Rape Her on Sunday as I'm going w/ some friends.

Yep. I had my family say the same thing. I think I saw 2 other Wakeboats on the road the entire time we where there.

Dents, thats the West side of the lake, just pull out of the marina and follow the west side shoreline until you find a cove that is about 1/2 -1 mile long. From the marina its about 10-12 minutes. You wont miss it.
Those pics made me want to hyperventilate! What an incredible place with no one around!

I thought the same thing and the only thing I could think of was it was out in the middle of nowhere. Not a whole lot around once your out there. The towns are real small.
Tanner, I didnt see your other thread reply (cover support poles thread) untill I got back. Thanks though.
One thing I noticed about Oklahoma, there are not as nice as Texans! ;) Not only me but the rest of my family...oh well...beautifull place regardless. We are already planning another trip in the next month or so.

Just wear your UT hat upside down and you will be fine. Also remember that UT colors are not burnt orange. Its faded red!

Also remember that UT colors are not burnt orange. Its faded red! That is University of Texas, not University of Tennessee, which uses true orange and white, not some yuppy color that no one really can describe.:)
