In Parker, as you cross over the Bridge from Calif (off Rice RD) lies a Speed Trap as you enter Parker approaching the ARCO station.
The speed limit is 35 one stretch and 25 another and it is strictly enforced.
That stretch of road is tricky, because it takes a Eastern downhill at the inspection station, and most new vehicles shift to neutral, and you'll jump 5 MPH when you take your foot off the gas.
You're punchy from doing 70 all day long in route to the river, so chances you'll be speeding along this stretch.
Then pow,, you got a ticket for doing 3 MPH over the limit.
Larger tires also change the accuracy of your Vech's speedo, so you may be going faster than indicated.
The Parker PD enforces it 24 hrs. If they stop you they will write you.
If you are stopped expect to be givin a DUI test, and your ID run for wants and warrants, and you'll be removed from the vehicle to look like a jack-*** in front of your family.
A real scene with at least 4 cars responding to the traffic stop.
Have proof of insurance, they're not like California where it's in the LEO computers.
It's the only spot where the Parker Police come into contact with civilization, and they milk it for every dime.
Law enforcement is very heavy in Parker:
It's a very small town and you have:
Parker Police
La Paz Sheriffs
Arizona Highway Patrol
Tribal Police
all dovetailed by
San Bernadino Sheriffs
Calif Highway patrol
All in a very concentrated area.
Absolutely, positively don't drink and drive in Parker.

Good advice. Please be careful driving on Rice Road!!!
A great site by a La Paz officer is www.boatcop.com
He has a lot of Q+A on his site and he is always over at www.hotboat.com as well.

sigh...what Im trying to say is that as a new TIGE owner Ive never been to such an event like this one. Frankly Im not gonna have the slightest clue on what is gonna happen. I just wish someone who HAS been there could fill me in on what is gonna happen so Im aware of the events during the weekend.
Does that clear things alittle?:D

Ya check in.
Ya hang out in/on your Tige in the Marina. Or put across to the sandbar.
The dinner and cool give-aways are Sat nite.
Info of whats going on is at check-in.
We have a few Old Malibu owning folks we met at the marina yesterday want to talk to the Tige' sales staff.
They are in the market for a new Malibu, but after hanging out on our new Tige' they want to talk to Dan Brubaker.
We paid about $22.000 less than they've been quoted on new Malibus.
The power, handling, good ride, supurb wake, nice lines, excellent lay-out of our Tige woke them up. The Tige' 22i is a boat with lot's of character.
An easy sell to Malibu folk.
We are in slip C26 if anyone wants to come by for a cold one. (or is it c28? I ferget)
BTW, backing into the slips seems easiest.
8" bumpers work best.

You can avoid the questions by turning up the volumn so you can't hear the questions being asked. :D :D :D
