Tigé/Wake Designs Board Straps Splitting...

For those of you that have the new '04 Tigé tower with Wake Designs Racks- have you noticed your straps beginning to split? I've noticed that mine are doing so after a little over 1 months use. I'll post pics in a couple of days.

Don't say that, I just got 2 of the 04 racks! Are they splitting where they go around the board, or where you hook them onto the rack? Maybe you should spray some 303 on them to protect the rubber from the sun?

they're splitting in multiple places where they go around the board. I picked up the boat on 3/30 and it is kept indoors, so UV degradation is a non-issue at this point.

I have not seen the splitting but had one of the handles on the end of the black bungie cord break off. They will make it good, but you just worry about the long term life of the product.
