black windshield discontinued?

I read on wakeboarder.com that the black anodized windshield has been discontinued. Is this true? If so, why?

I hope it is because the new one will be more sturdy than the old.

just read this on wakeboardmag.com, the silver three piece tower is all that is available(sturdier and cheaper), the black is no more. Should question tige about black paint to apply to that silver...

um.. you said tower. I was referring to the windshield... when I ordered my boat, you could get the tower coated any color you wanted. Has this changed too?
