I am currently waiting to take delivery of my new 22Ve and am thinking about ordering some Gator Grip. Originally I just wanted to use it as a transom guard to protect against wakeboards bumping it, but then I saw pics of it installed in other places. Before I order it I want to see how much I need so...
Show me the pics of your grip! :ro:
There are a few in this thread.

I'm thinking about pulling up the mat up on the swim platform and going GatorGrit :ro:
I also put some on the trailer fenders.

I haven't heard of anyone saying that putting this stuff on the swim platform would hold up well. Have you heard otherwise?

Haven't heard that it won't hold up! we'll see how the GG on the fenders holds up cause it gets stepped on w/shoes every trip out.

If you could keep us informed then we will have something. When questions like this are posted to WW, no one answers the question and then the person who sells the product makes a comment. Not sure if the salesperson doesn't hear the bad news about the product but no one else comments. It's kind of interesting...

In my experience, the stuff is bullet-proof. I had it on my last boat for five years - no sign of wear (garage kept, though).
Trailer Fenders: I have it on my fenders (black trailer - I used all black Gator Grip - not the white and grey that I used on my boat). No sign of wear.
Trailer Tongue: I also put a few strips on the tongue of the trailer (people like to step on v. over it, for some reason).
Swim Patform: A buddy put it on his fiberglass Moomba platform last spring - No sign of wear, and a great surface for putting your board on. His boat is on a lift in the weather for 7 months - no sign of wear.

Well, this is great news. I was thinking about Hydro Turf or GG because my swim platform mat is "leaking" a black plastic because the sun is getting to it. I haven't put any type of cover on it because I know I will have to change it out this winter. So, I will have to get some samples of GG to see what color I like best with the boat now.....

Thanks T, that's what I wanna hear :bo: :D
The M-man bought a bunch of my leftover grey on white Gator Grip for his baby over the winter. With his mad style, I can't wait to pics of his continued pimpin' of that ride. :ro:
Moki, chime in Brother! Are you installed yet - or are you guys still snowboarding way up there?!?

Brother T*,
I am still working on my batteries, alternator, isolator, and stereo install. Next is the gator grip. I have been sitting in the boat trying to get her to tell me where to put it. So far, I am going to have some on my dash for MP3 player, some running down the sides of the gunnel and some on the back sundeck area -- thinking of following your lead on the bow as well.:bo: Also looking for places on my trailer as well. May share some of the Gator Grip love with my neighbor who owns a Malibu.

My brother-in-law has GG on his entire fiberglass platform. Holds up really well if its applied properly to begin with.

Hydro Turf: http://www.hydroturf.com/ (It will take 2 weeks before you get the samples. For some reason, they were slow but they do look nice)

The M word and me, don't go together. Heck the Relationship word and I don't even make it very far:(
Had to buy a new amp :(

well the suit is a WW and it's the girls behind her, my ex. Keep in touch with them both. You think the suit is nice in front, it's even better in the back:) but those are not forum appropriate
They are up on WB you can see them there if you haven't already.
