Brand new to the ski boat world I purchased a 2008 RZ4 delivery set for the end of May. The boat is yellow with black insert, I've had numerous high performance cats 2005 Lavey sabre with blown 575, 2002 HTM ss with 800 NA hp.. I had the oppurtunity to go with my brother inlaw in his malibu 23 wakesetter last year and had more fun in that boat then any boat I've owned so i switched. Looking forward to a new kind of boating.....

I'm having the vortec put in has far as dealing with speed and motors I've always lived by the slogan buy the biggest motor your budget allows. I'm told that on ski boats the biggest motor isn't always necessary.I have a 7yr. old dghtr. thats so excited she's into tubeing and last year she got up on a wakeboard we can't do any of that stuff with a cat. The wait is not that bad 6wks 2 weeks are gone already I'm use to waiting 4 months...

The wait can really kill you. I got mine the week before Christmas and then had to wait until spring. Man that was a long cold winter.

You will have it in time to come to the reunion at lake Lopez on June 3rd and 4th. We would love to see it there. Congrats and welcome to the TIGE' owners group. This is a great group of Ladies and Gentleman and you will see we all try to support each other. Your kids are going to love the WAKE BOARDING. Let me know when you are ready to buy some starting boards and equipment. I get the stuff at a discount now and pass it along to all the guys here.

Better hope that there isn't any time delay's and the weather is good. You will need to start praying to the Wakeboarding God. :ro:
Welcome to the board. You and your family will enjoy that boat, plus you will have room to invite your neighborhood!

email him at tigeman@tige.com. That is the fastest way to get in touch with him he is a very busy man. Give him your contact info in the email and what you are trying to do. He usally responds. but if you are only three weeks away from getting your boat you need to act quick because they are builing seven of these a day and shipping them. So I am sure you are getting close to shippment time.

anhaney, I would be interested in buying a starter wakeboard for my dghtr. she's 7 and 60 to 65 pounds. I honestly don't know anything about wakeboards so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I did buy 2 boards last year a liquid force 143 omega series for me and a hyperlite 134 divine for the wife there still wrapped in plastic that's tells you how much fun I had on my bros. 23 wakesetter I bought all kinds of equipment before I bought the boat. Thanks for all the kind comments about my new boat I will post pics once I see it.

Send me a PM of your order number and info for TIGE. I will be talking to Andrew Reyes in the morning and I will see if he can get Lee to take a pic for all of us and post it on TIGE Owners. As for the board what size foot does your daughter have. A junior board will probably work best.

Yes, but the junior boards come with smaller bindings. We have one for our kids. My oldest just out grew the bindings and we moved him out of the smaller board. he wanted to put his bindings on that board because it is easier to do tricks with. We had to tell him NO! it is his youger brothers now. He is 8 and has used it for the last year since we bought the boat. He fits in it fine. Our nice who is 6 and 45 Lbs fits in it two but she is a little loose. We just pull the strings tight. Besides I don't know that I would want them to be locked into bindings real tight when they don't know how to fall. It works out okay for us. But each person has there own way of doing things. We never go over 14 or 15 miles and hour with the kids behind the boat and they think they are moving fast.
