Hi
New to this forum.I just purchased a 04 21i in December.Unfortunatly dew to the time of year I could'nt test drive but got a 6 month sevice plan. The deal was to good to pass, only 42 hrs.My son and I slalom and my girls wakeboard. From what I read on this forum and others the boat is good at wakeboarding ,however not much info on slaloming.Anyone slalom with this boat a 15/28 off at 30to32mph. Thanks pittski

The 21i has a very good slalom wake I ride at 15 off 31 mph and taps set at 1.5 to 2 for a soft easy to manage wake.

I have a 2001 21i and we ski all the time at 15 off. You can change your wake w/ the taps and make it nice. I usually run about 2 on the taps I think. I couldn't ski last year so I would have to check on that, but it is nice skiing off of it. I have skiied on several different kinds of boats and I like this one a lot. Enjoy.

I think you would have had alot better wake had you went with a Switch I/20I b/c of having 8 inches narrower beam and about 400lbs. less boat. However you will LOVE the interior space of the 21i versus the 20 footer. I live @ a private lake that only allows 21ft. and below and it HAS to be a DD. I've been behind a Switch I and I own a 21i and I think the 21i wake isn't very good for slalom.....now granted I am a wakeboarder but I've had very good slalom skiers behind my boat and it just has alot of lip where as the 20i/switch i didn't have near the lip. Just my .02! Maybe you'll just have to come to the dark side of wakeboarding.......... I promise once you do you'll never look back!
