Picked up the new addition today and I wanted to say thanks again to Tige Watersports in Corona. They were great to deal with and Daniel never lost patience after I changed my mind every week for the past 4 months. I know there was a post for Ski Dock and I wanted to extend my gratitude out to Tige Watersports as well. Thank you Daniel and Chris for a pleasurable experience. So without further ado.... here she is.

wow, nice rig!! color scheme is great as well!

is that the samson tower? (if it is, looks like they are adding more curvature to their design)..if it's not, it's a good looking tower, the lines flow well with the 22i.

I also have been very pleased with Tige Watersports, the pro shop and service department have really been a pleasure to work with.

Excellent boat choice. You'll love the boat. I saw you at Tige Watersports getting it delivered. Daniel said he was taking you out to Elsinore to test it. I love the graphics. I have them on my 24V and man, do you get stares. Tige Watersports are the best, including the service department. I was there getting a new prop put on. With my lifetime discount because I bought a boat there, they charged me about the same as I could get it on-line and I didn't have to buy a prop puller. Beware the shallows of Elsinore. I learned that first-hand. Good thing I was only going 3 mph.

Its actually a Phat Budde tower. http://www.phatbudde.com/
Originally I wasnt sold on the tower, but after seeing it more and more I think its the best tower for the boat.

The Phat Budde tower rocks. It is big and thick and solid on the water. They also have cool add-ons like the mirror bracket. They match any of the Tige boat colors. The racks are a piece of cake and have a lot of padding.

lol....

yeah Daniel pointed out your boat as I was loading up my truck with free swag. I saw everyone ducked down under your swimstep so I figured thats what you were doing to it.

I got to check the boat out first hand yesterday in the chop. The 15 freeway side of Elsinore seemed to have sets of swells coming in all directions and the boat was solid.

Cant wait for the weekend!!!

Going to head out to Lake Perris this Sunday @ Sunrise, I have a white 2000 21i with blue trim. Not sure if you are headed there or Elsinore...maybe I'll see ya there.

Sounds good. I may be there. Sunday I usually ride the track at Elsinore, but judging by the weather Sunday seems like a much nicer day to be out in the boat. I will look for you if we end up there on Sunday. Do you know when the lake starts to get crowded?

The idiots on jet skis start rolling in around 9:30am or so...we get there at Sunrise get a couple sets in a then go anchor out and get some sun.

Ruune, We go to havasu all the time and love it! there is good water in the early mornings and evenings and the rest of the time it is not to great, but always fun to hit the sandbar, topak, copper canyon, bridge etc. where are you staying?

I am not sure where were staying yet. I should know more later this week.

Joe, did you end up going to Perris on Sunday?

I went out to Elsinore on Sat. Then on Sunday took my neighbors with us to Perris. Sunday was both good and bad. Ended up that my truck has a stress on the front rim and wont hold air. Then halfway to the lake I completely forgot that I left the plug in my truck. Home Depot fixed that. $2.13. Then I am trying to teah the wife how to drive and to pull someone. I was the brave soul that chose to be towed and ended up having the rope wrapped around my arm and dragged 80ft because she panicked. So now I have a nice burn that goes right around my arm.

Other than that.........no complaints. Boat was great!

Cool...I'm pretty sure I saw you there..very sure actually....I was going to drive by and say what's up but ended up getting distracted somehow.
Your boat looks awesome, makes me want a brand new one myself.

Maybe we could link up in Havasu? I'm going with a bunch of my buddies...we are all in are mid 20's, should be fun.

When we were heading back to the ramp at the end of the day one of the many idiots out there damn near hit me, ran right in front of me (within 10 feet) and didn't even look when I laid on the horn. I circled around and threw a wake over the top of the his flat bottom boat....drenched him and his loud mouth wife (she had a few choice words for me).

Sounds fun.... I will know later this week where were staying or camping. Leaving that up to my buddy since I havent been there yet.

I saw quite a few Tige's at the lake on Sunday. Ended up hanging out with some guys in the morning waiting for my wife to get there.

PWC's.................???? Bastards. I watched people at the dock try and back there skiis in the water sideways, then every single time going around the lake I had to watch for them because they think there the only ones in the water. I had a couple of them race past me just to come to a complete stop in front of me. My neighbor was in the water swimming back towards the boat and some dumbass on a flourescent sea doo comes racing past us in the opposite direction within 10ft. of my neighbor. BTW, Our flag was still up...

Yeah, and the best part is that it's only going to get worse there as the weather gets warmer. Took 25 minutes to get the boat back on the trailer yesterday because of other people not having there act together and blocking the ramp.

You really have to keep keep an eye out....I've had countless PWC's and boats come less than 10 feet from me at speed for no reason.

Anyways...yeah let me know what you end up doing...We are going to get their mid morning on Friday and then wake up early both Sat & Sun to get some clean water. Then over to Coppper Canyon to party.

ssrgeoff -

Are you still headed out to Havasu this weekend? If you are I'll keep an eye out for you...like I said we plan to be spending most of the day @ Copper Canyon that is of course after we get some clean water in the morning.

I've got a white w/blue trim 21i...4 speakers on the tower...if you spot me in Copper Canyon come on by.

I dont know now.....

I received a phone call that my Grandma goes in for surgery Friday afternoon in Sacramento. Its one of those that she may not make it. I have to see her before the surgery for my own piece of mind. If everything goes good I plan on flying back home and sticking to the plan. Its up in the air now...... If I do make it I will head your direction and see if I can spot you...

If not...... it will be a long summer and we'll run into each other at some point.

If we don't link up this weekend there are plenty more.

Awsome boat - loved the blue graphics on it! We saw it at Tige Water Sports when we had them do a service and add the West Coast Graphics to our 24v.

Have fun - were at Castaic Lake this Saturday!

Joe,
Thanks she made it throught the operation which was our biggest fear. They did find cancer cells which they sent to the lab so we should know more this week. Yeah, we have a long summer in front of us so we will definately bump into each other. Infact, after the weekend I just had I am ready to go out all weekend.

SDBUILT,
Yeah I saw them switching out the graphics on your boat when I was there. I dont think anyone is going to run the standard Riders Edition Graphics anymore.....

Having ridden PWCs for over 24 years, it really chaps my hide how ignorant people are when it comes to driving them. Still, I was cut off by a bayliner towing a tuber doing S-turns while, while I was towing my brother.

Anyways, heres what to do- Get one of those big water balloon launchers and hook it up to your tower. When someone passes in front of you like that, let 'er rip! It also helps if you get really creative with the CONTENTS of the water balloon:eek:

I really love the guys ridding the PWC's in jeans and t-shirts...makes me laugh every single time I see them.

Speaking of that Joe.. the day we were out at Perris this guy rolls up and starts going over his PWC to make sure he has gas and such. The funny thing about it was he was wearing a purplish blue metallic spandex shorts that strangled his unit and a tight muscle tee (same fabric) to match. I didnt catch a glimpse of his glasses because I thought I was hallucinating but I am pretty sure it would have been the Oakley Frogskins or Blades with the Blue Iridium lenses.

Nice...Lake Perris really does have some characters, some better than others. I'm going to cruise down to San Vicente Lake this Friday, should be fun.

Hey ssrgeoff - Would you know of a good place to take my boat cover to have a tear stitched back up? I got a pretty large tear in the cover at the seam near the nose.

Jeff -

In Corona is Adlee covers. They are a great canvas shop, and they probably even made your bimini. They will do small repairs, and are easy to work with.
