Our new 2005 24V has a 380 hp engine (says it on the top of the engine), which I believe was made by Marine Power. I requested a maintainence manual from them and it arrived today but only listed a 375 hp engine for the 6.0L. Did they stop making this engine or is made by another engine builder?
Marine Power did a recalibration of the ECM in 2005 resulting in five more hp for the 5.7 and the 6.0 EFI engines.

The Owners manual they sent me was updated in 2003 so that explains why it is not listed at a 380 hp engine. Were there any other changes?

I am surprised that the manual did not address the care for the K&N filter. I suppose they expect you to know not to throw it away and how to clean and re-oil it.
The air filter on a 2005 is a K&N? It Sure would be nice to have a manual that goes with the engine.

Marine Power was very helpful when I told them I did not get a manual when we bought the boat. It was in the mailbox 3 days later. Great guys.

The print date on the manual is 2003. If you read this post, you can see that there was an engine modification to the 375 hp., but as far as maintainence, it should be the same. It does not appear that there is a later version. Help if you can Lee.

Should be the same manual they sent me. It has the specs for all of their engines. Find them on the web and call them. Thats all I did and they were great to deal with.

If you do not own a Tigé, why do you need the manual?

Nice catch Lee...
On the other hand, if you do, I would expect to have one that covers the particular model year.

I just reviewed the manual again. They did a pretty good job addressing all the models. Most of the engines within the same family are maintained the same. This is not a repair manual, only a manual about specs, maintainence, and troubleshooting.
I believe there is no replacement oil filter model provided, the oil requirements are different on different pages and are confusing, the horsepower is different from todays engines, no rated engine torque values are provided, I believe the instructions for replacement of the water separator filter is complete for one type but incomplete for the other type etc. I'm going from memory since I do not have the manual in front of me. What I did is do my own research and write in all the various things typically found in a manual of this type for specs and maintenance.
