if you really want some anxiety, order a ton of extra stuff custom on your boat that has to come in from all around and then be installed before you can use it. my boat has been in for a couple weeks but different things, from tower to graphics, etc are arriving day by day. not that i want to rush anything cause it is gonna be awesome! good thing the weather is crappy or i would really be going nuts! i have to really contain myself from going to our dealers shop and jst drooling on it until everything is done ;)

Havasu Bound,

Were you able to get the Tige Boat show discount even though you have to order it? I was told you have to take possesion of the boat to get the rebate. I would have done that except the boat wouldnt be here until after April.

6-8 weeks isn't bad. Just kidding. Do a project for the boat in the meantime.
We were told 5 weeks when we ordered a switch v on Feb 24, not here yet. We are told it is supposed to arrive the 3rd week in April. Hopefully be ready for pick-up by the last weekend in April, 8 weeks. The dealer is doing some work once it gets in, installing PP and depth gauge. It was ordered with the following:
2004 switch V
pacific blue
wakeboard package
ballast system
bimini
335hp Vortec
taps2
board racks
no trailer

It seems like Tige' waited to fill a truck, and happened to be ours was one of the boats first done and then it just sat.
Does anybody know what happens when a boat is done with production, but waiting to be shipped out? Is it stored indoors or outdoors, little concerned considering the amount of rain TX has been getting lately!

Not sure but I have seen them arrive at the dealer dirty as hell. Its okay though because it all cleans up and the shrink wrap protects the whole boat except for the very bottom hull.

I know here in the CA shop in Corona, they sit outside. But like "ssrgeoff" post said, the shrink wrap keeps them somewhat protected.

Well, summer isn't that far away, we just hope ours comes in before mid July , that's the first Havasu trip planned for us.

Good luck to all of you on the "waiting" list!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you all must feel. Mine is still in shrink wrap at the dealer awaiting a tower and some upgrades. For Southern CA the weather hasnt been that great lately so I cant complain. This gives me time to get all the "other" boating goods together.
