We have two Wetbikes and let me tell you,,,,you get the looks from everyone on the lake when you lay these things down in a cove!! When we need a change of pace, we take these things out and have a blast on them . Does anyone else out there have any or ever ridden one?

No, this is a wetbike, James Bond rode one in a very old 007 movie....back in the late 80's, the wetbike was made unitl 1979-1990, when the production stopped because there was a small crowd of people who would actually ride them, well we have 2 left that we ride on the lakes....1989's, I would show pictures of ours but we have none on the digi cam, here is a pic of an older one with bond on it.....

I saw a couple of those on Lake Conroe in Texas back in the early 90s. Haven't seen any since. How do they compare to jet-skis? Aren't they propelled by something like a snowmobile?

Those are OLD SCHOOL:) I remember those havent seen one in years would like to try one though. I know what your saying on the change of pace ,I've still got my 2000 Yam GP-800 SHHHHH don't tell anyone.
