What up everyone...? Just to get something going, what type of Tige does everyone have. Colors, model, year, etc. Any speakers or lights, what kinds? Also what type of wakeboards and bindings does everyone use?
To start it off...I have a 2004 Tige 22 V-Drive. It is all white with a bright red hull rather than the regular white hull and the rest colored. I have 2 Titan Bullet Speakers put on the tower but next season I am adding 2 more. We have a Mako 6-light bar. I use a hyperlite belmont with belmont bindings (2003 model).
What about all other members?

David,
I have noticed you are from Dallas and I think I may have seen your boat. Do you keep it at Eagle Point Marina?
I have a blue and white 01 23V Limited. I am still working on the tower speakers. I also ride a 02 Hperly Byerly 137 and an 03 Obrien Player 143, just ordered some 04 CWB Zuess bindings.

I do keep it at Eagle Point Marina in the dry lot. When its on the lake we are at the skiers/wakeboarder cove under the bridge.

Now that I think about it, I have seen your boat and I know exactly where you are. We can ride anytime but I'm only 14 so I'm not sure if you want to ride with a 14 year old but I'm all up for it...

well, I'm hopefully ordering a 2004 22v with grey top and hull color, and a black stripe down the side. As for powerplants, I'm opting for the 335hp vortec. I'm going to order Perf Pass, but no tower... as I'm going to put on a black monster tower w/ red bimini... this is because it folds down flat & is easier to get in and out of the garage. I'm also ordering it without the stereo because frankly, I can spend about 1200 bucks on a custom stereo w/ more power, and it'll sound better.... cant wait to get started!
As for boards, I've got an old DU nelson 138 w/ crappy bindings, '03 parks 143 w/ '03 byerly bindings, and UPS should be delivering my new Nelson 140 w/ LF ultra suctions tomorrow.

Before we bought our Tige 22V we were deciding on the same colors as you were but did not get them because we did not want to wait til this year. The monster tower is a great idea by the way. Great choice..

i have a 2003 21ir. Its the black paint job with the white interior. My frist boat and I LOVE IT!! I have four tower speakers, nothing to brag about, and a soloberic s10l5 and then the six clairion speakers from stock.
I ride either a HO burner(ski)
or I have liquid force exo's, and use them on a 2003 LF 134 evo or a HL 2003 TFD. LIke them both, but the evo is better in choppy water! Talk to you all later. also have perfect pass and 2 700 lb fatsacs:)

WOW! That is one mean looking Tigé. I think I found a favorite color scheme.
It is not mine, we had it in the Nashville Boat Show and it was the talk of the town.

Both of those color scemes are awesome. I think the black, red, and black looks awesome. Should have gone with a red tower but its still really nice...

Whats up everyone? Here is a pic of my 2000 21i R, I just got it about a month ago and I've been out a couple times now despite the cold temps (well cold for us California boys anyway). I'm getting ready to do a big upgrade to the stereo system and also add in perfect pass.
I'm hoping there will be a few more people from So Cal that get on this site, I normally cruise out to Lake Perris every weekend for a couple hours in the morning with a couple buddies. It would be cool to link up with some other Tige owners.

Hey Sammamish22V, nice rig... what motor do you have in the X-5? How does it pull? Big time fan, trying to get the wife to trade the 330cic in on one...

Great looking boat, if I was choosing colors for mine that is exactly what I would have chosen.

I have the 4.4 and it pulls great. I pull it over the passes up here in Washington at 75 no problem...and this is a heavy boat! The transmission is incredible, you don't even feel the car shifting. It actually pulls better than my Denali XL, but it gets pulled around a little more due to the short wheel base.
I went from the 740IL to the X5 and absolutely love it. It is as fast as the 740 and handles just as good, if not better. I upgraded the shocks and suspension, so it handles like a sports car now. I got tired of switching over 3 kids seats every time I wanted to tow the boat or go up in the mountains, but I didn't want to lose the luxury/sport car feel I had with the 740. Go test drive one, I think your wife will love it.
Thanks for the compliments Jeff! I love the color combo too. Surprisingly, the black color is very easy to take care of. All I ever do is wipe it down when we are done and wax it once or twice a year.

hows that 335 vortec vs the 315 merc? I'm planning on getting the 335 in my 22v znc I'm curious as to how you like it (i.e. power, mainenence, reliability, etc.)
Thanks!
Ruune
Too new an owner to tell and I had no experience with the merc. My decition to bye the Vortec over the Merc. is that Vortec offer a three year warranty and merc. only one year.
Ruune
02-04-2004, 04:24 PM
yeah... thats another reason I'm going w/ vortec. I've got the 6.0L in my truck, and it's pretty solid, although it gets REALLY thirsty!
Also, one reason I'm going w/ vortec is that they actually make the block, whereas merc and PCM both buy Vortec blocks and add PCM electrics (yes, merc uses some PCM electrics... check their web site!).

Lots of good lakes here. We like Saguaro or Canyon which are east of Phoenix. They get crowded in the summer and can actually close due to limited parking.
I've also been to the Colorado River in Parker, AZ (where the CA regetta was held - see members gallery) and Lake Havasu. Both are good just watch the wind on Havasu.

there is a 2006 20v comming in next week for us. The pics of the 20v that they unveiled are pretty similar, but insead of the orange its red. it has the 340 HP 5.7L, red bimini, tower of power, towerlights, ballast system. I think it has baisically almost all the options. I will post pictures after we pick it up and I have it all shined up next to the Sequoia!
