Well my boat was delivered on Friday, its paid for, now it just needs to be prepped. I was 1/2 way to austin today, for another reason... so my brother and I decided to go take a peek. The boat isnt prepped yet -we didnt think that the wire transfer went through before the banks quit transmitting yesterday, so they didnt start prepping it. Plus, I didnt want them to rush it, and DEFINITELY dont want the service guys pissed off.:D :p :D
Anyways, here's my baby... its on diff trailer, but I've got a pic of the trailer its going on.

how did you attach the pictures, I tried to attach the ones I took with my digital camera but the site said they were too big ....exceeded the maximum size limit for file attachment....

You will need to reduce the file size and one way is to email it to yourself .. no doubt there are more ways to do it .. probably better too .. good luck ..

if you've got windows XP, right-click on the image, choose edit.
This will open XPs native image editor. I believe its called "paint."
Once the program is open, click on Image, and choose Stretch/Skew. From there, you can reduce the image size by inputting a percentage less than 100 in the stretch line.

gorgeous boat. glad you finally got it wet. good to see DW earning his pay.
minor note: I moved my mirror to the port side windscreen so it wouldn't block my forward view. If you're not going to get a tower-mounted mirror you may consider that also. Any feedback out there on that?
Congrats! enjoy it.
That is one good looking boat, I really like the color combo.
your going to have a kick a$$ summer.

So Ruune, I got an all black 22V coming in a few more weeks. How has that red/black combo been on water spotting?
Ruune---- that's a nice ride. What lake is that and what lake do you go to.
Ruune

thanks guys- As far as water spots, as long as you wipe it down every time, it doesnt get too bad. I use something called "The Absorber" (available at pep boys), and wont be going back to a leather chamois again! Also, I use Ducky water spot remover for the stuff that gets on there when I've been out all day.
Now that I've said that, you might want to invest in a transom guard. Noob boarders have a bad habit of letting boards scratch up the transom... and black shows scratches pretty easily.

That is why I make them put their boards on in the water. : )
However, I was looking at investing in some 3M paint protectant @ http://cms.3m.com/cms/US/en/2-168/czuzlFH/view.jhtml

I bought some of that from Cabelas It works great. I've got some
11-13 year olds that ride with us and I know its saved my transom from scratches.

bigD - Excellent to here that it worked for you, did you apply the film yourself? I was under the impression from the 3M site that you had to take your car/boat to a professional applicator. Could you post some pics of the installation locations when you have time?
Ruune - Be sure to let you know and post pics of before/after the installation.
