Anyone out there in 'boatland' with a V or Ve have the factory table? I would love to see some pics of where it sets up and what the mount looks like.

Do You use/like the table?

Thanks

I can answer half of your question. I do not have a pic of a Ve with a table, but have had two different V-drives with the table.

I used the table once. It seems that I just never feel the need to pull it out and set it up. It wouldn't take a lot of effort, but even that seems to be too much. I wouldn't get it if getting another boat.

I agree with Tall.

We don't have one on our current boat, but did with the 03. We never used it. Maybe if you stay on the water with your boat all day it might be more usefull, but we just run back to the shore or slip if we need a table.

I have the 24ve and we use our table every time at lunch to make sandwiches on. We have also used it for playing cards. I thought the base for the table rocked back and fourth to much, so I removed the origanal screws into the fiberglass and replaced them with thru bolts and washers. Nice and solid now.

I've had my boat for a little over 7 years now. I don't use the table very often, but use it occasionally when we're tied up on a float and my wife brings hordeurves. She really likes it and I have to admit that it's handy when you're trying to cut cheese & sausage slices.

Thanks for the input, Wife wants a table. Is the mount a 'flush' mount, so as not to be kicked or somethimg. My wife's middle name is 'Grace' if you know what I mean.

I have an 05 24v. I use the table quite a bit as we often go out and have dinner on the lake. The mount on the V is under the rear center custion. Way out of the way. i believe on the VE the mount is flush with the floor just in front of the rear seat.

Sounds like you're gettin' the table :D No worries, it's not in the way unless it's up. Far better than bringing a folding table along...

We have, and use the table in our 06 24V. Mostly for those sunset "Whine, I mean Wine and cheese" floats. You don't want to have it up full time though. It will get in the way. The good thing is that it goes up, and down in about 3 seconds flat. If it was an option, I would get it. The first time you and your lady are anchored in some cove, have a bottle of the finest, and some munchies, you will be more that happy you made the small investment.

Probably one of those things that would be a giant pain in the butt to get later too. Might as well just get it now.

That's how I got my heater, windscreen, subwoofer..etc... :D

The mount for the 06 24ve is in the same place, it's under the rear seat cushion.

I think it's like that on all V-Drives. Mine is that way and when I looked at one of the first 22Ve, it was like that, too.

I looked at the pictures on the tige website and it looked like the mount was on the floor. I also saw one at my dealer which I thought was that way. Could be wrong though:rolleyes:

I have the 06 20V and mine mounts the same. I was suprised as the brochure pics do show it coming off the floor so that may have been an 06 change? Either way, very quick and easy up and down. I would agree, very little money now compared to trying to set it up later.

all of them ive seen have been centerd under rear seat cushion . your wife could not kick mount even if she tried its under seat and very flush as well. the 24ve we just gotin has it and just 1 little piece of center seat lifts out. is this what the rest of you have?

We got the table for our 06 22v and have used it a few times. It does come in handy and for 200 bucks it's well worth it.

We have a table on our 06 22ve and we love it. We use it almost every time we go out. The table mounts on the back seat were the inspection cover is for the v drive. I tried to talk my wife out of it but once again she was right. Glad we have it!

We use the table for making sandwiches. I find it very useful. My ultimate goal is to eventually turn it into my desk :D PS does this new smile make my teeth look big???

See, if you were really good, you'd figure out a way to work without requiring a desk :D

The early production ve were mounted in front of the rear seat on the floor, then they moved it under the seat .

I am still trying to get this perfected. No, that is not me. It is a professional model that I hired from a New York Modeling agency.
