Engine surging

1997 2150i with Scorpian engine in it... lots and lots of hours on it.

Engine is surging when it gets hot and the prop shaft is vibrating. It happens when Perfect pass is on or off.

The transmission fluid is full and just changed 2 months ago. Prop is fine.

Any thoughts on what this would be?
