Can anyone help me find information on the current DNR sound tests that are taking place? Our boat is housed in Wisconsin and testing is happening there. Can anyone provide a statement, from Tige, that we are not in violation? Many thanks!

I'm not really sure what type of sound testing you are talking about, but waterskimag tested the engine decibles on most makes. Click here (http://www.waterskimag.com/product.jsp?ID=1595&product=boat&clientID=25183) for an example of the 04 Tige 24V. There is a reading at the drivers seat and at the rear of the boat at idle and crusing speed.

Thanks for the reply. Very grateful. I cant seem to get Tige to help me on this. The article at waterskimag only covered newer models. Ours is a 99 2200i and i have scoured the net looking for anything that will tell me what our specifications are, in noise level. Any further help would be appreciated.

have you tried calling Tigé's customer service, or emailing Andrew directly?

We have been looking but do not have a copy of Waterskimag test form 1999. They are the only ones that did the decibles test in 1999 and the test they did was inside the boat. You might get a copy from them.
radio schak has a db meter for about $30. pick one up and you can test your self. being that your boat is older (not sure of hours) the brand new specs may not be what your boat puts out now. well worth the $30 imo.
