My friend owns a stereo shop and has recommends crossfire tower speakers. I trust him and as soon as I get my boat out of storage and find some time I am going to get them installed

What are your goals and how much are you willing to spend? I have NVS addictions and can hear them while wakeboarding very well. People back at the houseboat a mile away can hear them clearly too. :D

I just looked at the NVS web site and I changed my mind on the crossfires. They have some sick speakers.

Check out Bulletspeakers.com. A friend has the 261's. They sound great. They also built my tower. Excellent quality! The customer service is great too. They drilled a hole in the wrong spot when putting my speakers on. (I already had a pair, when I decided to get a new tower), and they offered to reweld, and then re-powdercoat. Instead, they put a little plug in, and now, no-one can tell anyway. They started their business only doing tower speakers. ?!!? my .02

I've got a pair of Boss B-69's with the Spektrum Audio 6x9's getting 75 watts a piece. They sound awesome. Very clear and very tight and very loud. I'll probably put more power to them this year as I have decided to use that amp for the new sub. Either way, they sound great and the quality is top notch.

I have a pair of the B69's. I have some Alpine 6X9's in there. They do sound great. I wanted to get some more speakers though. When boarding you can't really hear them that well. Do you have anything else on your tower? I was wondering how it would look, putting a couple 6.5" inside 6X9's. .... May look funny.

That's all I have up there now. That's all that is going to be up there at least for this year as I am currently installing an entire new system in the rest of the boat. Did you put the Alpines in yourself? The Spektrums I have in there really seem to carry a long ways back. So far as the looks go it might look kind of weird if you go with another manufacturer. If you stuck with Boss I think it would look allright.

I got them with Pioneer's. I didn't like the way they sounded, so I put the Alpine's in. As for the rest of the boat, I think I'm going to change out the Clarion speakers and put in Polk Audio. I have a couple Alpine Amps. I think I want to change those out too.

i am looking at getting some new tower speakers with the money im getting back from taxes. im plan on getting some samson speakers. they sound awesome, and have a swivel on them. if you beach the boat just turn them around for tunes on the beach. they are crisp and clear. check them out at . . . http://www.samsonsports.com/speakers.html

Those are pretty sweet, but I usually back into shore anyway. Drop the anchor off the front (I have that achor buddy strech rope). And then back in. Put a stake in the ground (Steel stake with built in driving mechanism). Then tie it off. Let a little rope out, and everything stays tight. When you want to get back in, pull the rope, the anchor side stretches, and then you climb in. while getting the boat ready, the anchor side then pulls the boat back out away from shore. .... Make sure you get a float for the anchor rope when you disconnect from the boat. Otherwise you'll be sorry.

i do that also. i have only beached my baby once. the samsons also remove very easy with the pull of a pin. that will keep them nicer longer, and theft protected.

I have a pair of singles with the Tantrum drivers from Monster Tower. They sound extremly clear. They are also among the more reasonable speakers out there. The guys at Monster offer great support, too!

If your not wanting to spend big bucks, our local stereo guy has installed the 8" Bazooka's on a couple of our Tige customers, they have a great sound for the money, traded in some Boss speakers on one. I noticed a dealer has them on ebay cheap.

My stereo guy has some on display at his shop. They are not subs as you might think. They look like they are subs with the big vent hanging off of one side like their subs do but, they are in fact mids w/ tweets. I haven't listened to them but he recons they sound O.K. Status quo for Bazooka. Not spectacular but not too bad. I wasn't really interested in hearing them as I was sub shopping in order to get rid of my Bazooka.

I have the 8" Tubbies in stock MT8002B I think is the # with their 2 1/2" clamps. www.sasbazooka.com I think is their website. I will try and post a photo but I never can remember the size I have to shrink my photos down to.
I have seen these on ebay before.
