2006 Bimini Tops

Anyone buy a 2006 boat and not received their Bimini top? I've had my 2006 22V since August 18, 2005 and have not recieved the Bimini top originally ordered with the boat - it was part of the original package, it wasn't something we asked for after the fact. It was known before the boat was built. My dealership has explained this to be a TIGE problem - they've sold (4) boats so far and no Bimini tops.

Just curious if other folks are having the same problem across the country?

I heard that the problem has something to do with the new tower and the fact that it is narrower higer on the tower. They have some options and are working out the best solution for size, mounting, storage, etc. I would try to be patient and know that what you get will be well thought out and the best solution, not a quickly slammed out mess. It doesn't help now when you need it, but you will probably be happier long term.

I ordered one with my 22v and have not yet recieved it. I have gotten my racks though. they came in about a month after the boat.

The bimini tops have started to ship out, we just had one for a 20v come in.

For me - it's a mute point by now - we are nearing 32 degree's tomorrow morning. I guess I can wait until next spring ;-)

I was/am having the same issue w/ my cover. But my dealer told me that he just recieved mine and 4 or 5 others in the mail the other day and is bringing it to me on his way through to Tige.

ya I got a 2006 20v without a bimini top, board racks and some other minor things but it is in the shop now getting them all. Doesn;t matter for me now considering I live in calgary and it is snowing but ya i also wondered why.

Had mine winterized today - I have everything except the bimini - still waiting - at this point, it doesn't really matter to me until next Spring. You'd think the company being used would eventually get caught up. Whatever the reason - I guess I'll just wait.
