2005 switch I

It seems I get a lot of power train noise from my switch. I noticed that the engine cover is not insulated----would that help? Also would a 4 blade smoothe prop or for that matter a 3 blade smoothe prop?

Whitch switch do you have?When I first got my 03,21i it seemed to be louder then it should be.I seen a post on Malibu wakesiderides on insulating the doghouse.I run a 3 blade,that is what Tige recomends on their i models.

WE had the same issue with ours, along with many other issues that are still waiting to be fixed (almost a year later)

Anyway I insulated our engine cover and i made a big difference.
If you have check the engine alignment and the trans oil, then I think you'll find that the noise will go away slowly with a few hours. Ours has gotten alot better from the box of bolts it was when we first got it from the dealer.
