I've got a 2000 21V w/ the 350 MPI. I can't figure out how to get the rotor off to replace it. Anyone got any tips? TIA.
Andrew:)
If it is a Merc engine, the rotor will be very tight but will pull off.

My 1998 was never changed and was rusted on. I had to take a hacksaw blade "be carefull" and cut notches then break with pliers. Mine never would of come off if I didn't do this. It may help to have a new rotor button in your hand to see how thick the plastic is.
Good luck
