How do you keep the white vinyl "WHITE"

How do you keep the white vinyl "WHITE".

Just wondering what others are using out that that wont void the warentee?

Owners manual recommends "Fantastic" because it will not strip the protective coating on the vinyl.

I use Mr. Clean eraser pads occasionally and they work great, however I don't know if they would void the warrantee.

Yep, Fantasic and a lot of elbow greese on the tough stains. Then 303 aerospace protectant on top of clean vinyl really seems to help the next clean up.

I use a McGuires marine vinyl cleaner and protectant. I can't remember the exact name of it but, I'll try to remember to check it tonight. The stuff is gold. Just spray and wipe. It cleans anything super fast and super easy. I spent 7 years in the detailing "industry". I have cleaned everything from blood to paint and even broken water (yeah, broken water),and used all sorts of products to do it. This stuff works great.

Okay, I'll bite, what is broken water?

Where did you get this Mequires vinyl cleaner?
We have a Boaters World, West Marine and Overtons in the area and I wonder if they carry it?

Has anyone come across a stain they can't get off.

I have a wierd situation and I have no idea what came off on the vinyl. After riding all day I got everything out of the compartments to dry off. I set one Hyperlite Board and one Connely board on my engine compartment. Evidently there was some moisture between the boards.

When I went to put them away a couple days later I found a gray patch under the connely board, in fact the board was somewhat stuck to the white vinyl when I lifted it up. It didn't tear or rough up the surface of the vinyl at all but left a light grey in color area about 4"x 8" long where it sat on the vinyl. There was nothing under the Hyperlite board. It's so light in color I don't even think a digital camera would pick up the difference, but being a new boat - it obviously bothers me more then anyone else. Most people probably would never notice.

I use a product called "ROLL OFF" that works great on everything, but this will not come off. Any suggestions on what it might be and what might remove it???

I've got two. The first is from a magazine that was left on a wet observer's seat. The other is from my dry suit zipper that was also wet and left on one of the bow cushions overnight. I think it was actually the wax on the zipper. Nothing will get the stains out. I think I'm going to look into having them dyed over the winter. Has anyone ever heard of this. I've used dye on carpet but, never on vinyl.

We have a place here in St. Louis called Colormatch. It's a small shop and they do vinyl and leather repair for cars and boats.

They dye almost any vinyl and do an incredible job. You could never tell there was a hole or a cut or scratch or a stain on your leather or vinyl after they're done with it. They are really good.

If you're lucky, you can find a shop similar near you. The technology exists, you just need to find someone who knows how to apply it.
