Im am in the process of purchasing a '04 22v. I was going to place an order but the dealer has one very close to what I want on the showroom floor. The one option that the dealer's boat is missing is a heater. Is the heater a factory only option -or- can one be dealer installed?

Thanks for the reply. I'll go back to the dealer and inquire. The sales person indicated that it was a factory item only.

i bet he (your dealer) meant it's a factory item they would have to order from the factory, and install at the shop.

Its a heater in the boat. Typically it has 3 or 4 vents that blow heated air into the main cabin. A buddy of mine has one in his Mastercraft X10. It sure make's it nice on those cold morings when your racing accross the water to your favorate boarding/skiing spot.

The heater can be installed at your local dealer. It operates alot like the heater in your car/truck, it uses the warm water from the cooling system. The standard heater comes with 2 vents, 1 under the helm, 1 for the passengers. Money well spent on those cold moring runs.
