Buddy Bearing grease??

Last weekend I had a wheel bearing blow out and now have new bearings and new buddy bearing assemblies. I am receiving very different information on how often to add grease. I have heard everyting from 5 squirts every time you launch your boat and pull it out of the water to once a year!!!!! What have you guys heard about the frequency and quantity of grease??? Thanks!

I was told that as long as I can see some of the blue ring, not to add grease.
And when adding greasing, to only add enough grease to make the ring come out about ¼ of an inch.

I added to much grease to my new trailer and blew out 3 of the 8 seals.
The guys at Extreme fixed everything for free, and gave me a quick class on how to grease the trailer.
I have noticed that each wheel will use a different amount of grease. I just check the blue ring before each trip (When I check the tire psi)
