Well I just ordered my new 06' 24V and I'm starting to second guess myself on the dash colors. I ordered the "mushroom" interior package, w/ the neutral dash, BUTTTT I was just curious if anyone had any pics of the black dash w/ the tan interior. I REALLY like the way the black dash looks but not sure how it would go w/ the tan interior... if it would totally clash or not. Can anyone help me out here w/ a pic? I know, I know... not exactly a life ending decision here

No pic, but I think you got it right.
Most tiges I have seen have a black dash, so yours will stand out.
BTW, black dash with platinum interior here

I went with the mushroom colored dash. I hate black (had another boat with a black dash and got too many 3rd degree burns). You will too if you live in a state where you have lots of sun shine and it gets pretty hot. I ordered mine this way, but it arrived with a black dash and I made them change it out.
I've attached a photo of my boat. BTW, you'll love the mushroom color because it never really looks dirty.

Hmmmm, trying to decide here. The only thing that's swaying me to the black dash is the stainless inserts, whereas the new mushroom dash has a black plastic insert. Thanks guys.

Don't let that deter you. You can still purchase the Stainless Steel inserts separately if you'd like. I did.

Mine came with the stainless inserts. I also got the wood grain dash...it still looks great

That is one good looking boat! I don't think I have ever seen that color combo of the red and mushroom. And I don't think I would have picked it out of the brochure, but seeing that pic made me change my mind.

Thanks!
Actually, I have my wife to thank for that. She said no way are we going to get another white interior, but she didn't want the seats to get hot either. My last boat was red and white and it looked great, so I was going for that look again. The dealer told me that normally, they match the hull with the interior and I thought that would look weird (actually, it doesn't, but I still like what I got). The mushroom console with woodgrained dash and stainless white Faria guages really work.
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of how the Monster Tower would look, but now that it's on, I think it looks better than the factory tower.
I oughta be working for Tige because 4 of my neighbors now own 21v's (most are newer models), but they still like mine the best. Selling boats is a lot more fun than the high tech grind :)
Of course, my neighbors are all State Farm agents...talk about a sweet gig...I think they work about 4 days a month.

Tweirich,
Your seats don't get hot? My 05 24V has huge sections of gray interior that get scalding hot in the sun. Today we're headed for 113 degrees and the vinyl literally becomes too hot to stand on. I play hopscotch on the sun deck so that I don't burn my feet. It's my only serious complaint. My next boat will have to have some sort of custom package, or Tige will have to listen to owners like me and change things. It looks like the 06 vinyl is very similar to the 05 as far as mix of gray and white.
My 02 21V had nearly all cream colored interior - easier to keep clean and didn't get hot.

Hot! You want hot - It was 124 degrees this weekend in Laughlin . That gray is a killer. Good thing most of mine is under my bimini!!

talltigeguy,
Remember, I have a 1999 2100v Limited. It's got totally different vinyl than the stuff they put in the rider's edition that year and subsequent years. It will get hot eventually (everything will), but not nearly as hot as the stuff you're talking about. My vinyl is a lot softer and appears to absorb heat better.
BTW, how tall are you?

That's funny you mention the legroom. When I sat in the 21V for the first time (my first boat). I knew I had to have one. I had NEVER sat in any kind of automobile without my extended legs hitting something. I didn't know what it was like.
My 24V is almost as good, but I've decided I kinda like the tickle my toes get against the subwoofer!
