i think its wake designs but i don't know for sure, i will say they don't look as good as the 2003

they're just like the 2003, but at the top, the bars are closer together, and the board racks can be mounted anywhere... those are made by wake designs though.

I have a 2000 21v Limited and was thinking about updating my old tower with the newer model. Mine has the board racks up on top and are just terrible to use. Any suggestions?

i'd buy more racks to put on the side before i blew the money it would take to get a new setup, not to mention you never know when you may need to be able to hold more boards than you can now

Richard... FYI, the new towers are $2300 for black or white, and $2900 for any other color.

subtle difference but the 04 towers have lower horizontal bars that parallel the windscreen. the 03 towers had them a little higher so you could mount racks there without blocking your view.

Hey banks... I was looking at that exact 24v used in the photo shoot. They've still got it at the ski dock in austin... phenominal boat! Anyways, that is the 1st rev of the 2004 tower, which has also been on all the 2003's I've seen. I think that 22v LE above is a 2002... even though it's listed in both the 2003 and 2004 catalogs  . So, that said, the towers went through one revision and the racks have gone through two. The pics below are of a 2004 22v we demoed in December on Lake Austin. Notice the different bend in the tower bars, and the lack of mounting locations on the horizontal bar at the bottom. The racks are mounted above the Tige' symbol at the top.

Since this revision, Tigé has switched to a Tigé-specific Wake Designs rack that you can mount anywhere.

I think that banks posted the correct tower, at the boat show they all had that right tower, at the boat show they had that tower on all the boats at the boat show

I concur and so does the Department of Redundancy Department also concurs and so do I.

I tried to order the 03 tower on my 04 22V but my dealer said it wasn't available from the factory. I prefer the higher horizontal bar near the windscreen. I'm going to have to mount the Wake Designs racks that came with it on the forward vertical supports so I can still fold the tower back into the boat.

I think Banks posted the correct pictures of the towers he posted were correct pictures of the towers were the right ones.:D

I need to do the same. I type some random stuff compared to what I am usually trying to say.

I like the towers and how they look but I'd have to see one on a Tige before I made a decision...

Brian,

The towers look good, and I know from experience you guys have some of the best board racks.

you should be able to get just about any tower you want on your new boat, just order yours from the factory w/o one if you don't like the stock option(s). i have also "heard" that there are 2 options from the factory. 1 - metcraft and one Tige in house. not sure on the validity as it came from the grapevine highway.

I dunno if any of you guys have the older tower... the one that was on the 2000 tige's. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with their tower as far performance. I'm looking at buying a second hand one
