ballast in a 2100v

I have a 2001 2100v and this is going to be my first time with all 5 sacs filled. I usually board behind a centurion and have not yet dialed in the tige for weight. Anyway, I have 5 bags: 2 370lb tube sacs, 2 260lb side sacs, and 1 600lb sac which is 1900lbs total and we will also have a bout 5-6 more people in the boat. What is the best configuration for all of these and how big of a wake am I looking at? I want this to be equivalent to the new boats the pro ride behind :D or at least close. If i need to invite more girls, let me know!

How about for wakeboarding. Im thinking the 2 370's in the rear compartments, a 260 in the very front of the bow with the second 260 right behind it, the the 600 right in front of the rear seat which is almost in the middle. Then people fill in wherever needed. I want that super big and mellow wake that doesn't feel like your hitting a curb.

wakeboarding! for wakesurfing I just move all the weight to one side. And we are all goofy so the driver helps also.

here is exactly what I have.
1 fly high fat sac 750lb
2 fly high side sacs 260lb each
1 fly high tube sac 370lb
1 BG fat sac 600lb

Took the boat out, lets just say, this is way to much weight. I had to run at 3500 rpms and around 25+ mph just to get the wake clean. The wake was giant and it was fun but with 2,200+ pounds of ballast, the motor was struggling. Wake surfing kind of sucked because the wash would just take out the actual wave. The wash were the water comes around both sides of the boat and meets together right behind the boat. Took so weight out and it was a whole lot better. I heard something about the cut outs on the rear sides of the hull causing all this when the boat is loaded.

Without propping down you'll have a hard time running that much weight. Sounds like you probably would have benefited from some extra weight further forward in the boat too to help clean things up (which is common to all late model Tiges).

Did you check your swim platform? With that much weight I would be shocked if it wasn't responsible for ruining the surf wake.

The platform was a good 5" below the water line. I guess i did have too much weight in the back, 560lb in the front and 750 in the middle/rear and 970 in the rear. next time I am goin to put the big 750 right in the middle and then stack the two side sacs on to of each other in the front.

i have a 99 21V riders. i run 240 lbs sand up front 100 lbs sand port and starboard lockers. for surfing i fill 2 600 lb sack stacked in the port locker. then a 750 on the port side seat. wake is incredible. typically run 10.7 to 11.5 depending on # people. taps on 8
