woooohoooo, have to show this to my son. He got up his first time two weeks ago for about 2-5 seconds and fell. This will help to encourage him.

How old is your son? My boy's first time was about 2 weeks ago as well and he did the very same thing. 2-3 seconds and caught his toes. He didn't know how to get the board turned and wouldn't stand up. Then set in his fear of what he couldn't see in the water (that was a new one - glad I have a great nephew that helped him conquer that fear).
