Freeze frame during video with iMovie?

Does anyone know how to freeze a frame in a video for a few seconds using iMovie? Help menu does not indicate.

I guess you could trim the video section in two and insert a still pic but it seems like it should be easier than that.

To create a still, position the playhead so the frame you want is visible in iMovie's monitor. Next, choose Save Frame As from the File menu. In the Save dialog box, choose PICT from the Format pop-up menu, and then save. (For a good-housekeeping merit badge, stash the still in the folder that contains your movie.) Now, import the PICT and add it to your movie.
