Tower Speakers

I am looking to purchase tower speakers. I have a Phat Budde tower. Can anybody offer any opinions on which brand are best? I would prefer black or polished aluminium cans. Also, are quick disconnect brackets a must-have?

You'll need to be a little more specific. There are tons of different tower speakers out there. You can spend from about $400 to over $2000. Some are good for the people in the boat, and others for the rider only. Quick connects are nice if you live in an area where theft is a problem or you frequently remove them to decrease weather exposure. Do you already have an amplifier?

No, I don't have an amp. I realize I need to get one. I have seen some nice looking tower speakers on ebay for around $350 for a set.
