Good to hear it! Add some post over there. It's growing fast! We need some Tige owners to post some topics. The malibu guys dominate the site

Thats because it was formally malibuboatowners.com. The same people from malibuboatowners.com created Wakesiderides.com.

Conversion would be great! In the mean time It's nice to compare notes etc... And yes MBO did become Wakesiderides. Wakeside.com great online wakeboard shop.

I would like to hear all of your opinions on site content.
What will make this a better site for You?
How can we make this the best resource for any questions about Tige's new or used?
Any comments good or bad are appreciated!
It is the goal of WSR to make this boat owners community the best resource available.

Without a doubt, one of the most valuable resources would be someone from Tige monitoring the site and providing advice. It also helps tremendously when one of the field guys (like recently departed Tige M.D.) takes the time to reply to inquiries.
Borrowing from my professional experience, Tige has a unique opportunity to leverage active participants into valueable intelligence about its customers (as well as buyers of other boats). I see a lot of die hard fans of their boats out here who are more than happy to weigh in on a number of topics.
Of course, the downside is now you have two sites to monitor. I do really like the notification I get here whenever there's a post to a thread I've been active on.

The Tigé factory, Tigé dealers, and Tigé service technicians will continue to post and interact on TigéOwners.com. It has taken a lot of hard work and dedication from both Tigé and Tigé Owners to launch and maintain this site's success. Tigé uses feedback from every post on this site when making modifications to the product and the way we do business. While we encourage you to post on other wakeboarding-related message boards, Tigé will continue to concentrate our best efforts on making TigéOwners.com the best inbord boat-owner related site on the internet.

dogbert I completly agree! There is a definite difference in the two sites!
This site is great! Tige owners. WSR is a community of all boat makes where we can exchange info, show our boats to other boat owners.
I am just trying to make the Tige section as accurate as possible.

it would be cool if we could set this site up to show off our rides.. would that be possible?

artking,
Yes you can show off your rides here, go to the galleries section http://www.tigeowners.com/photos/index.php and click on Members Galleries.

Matt,
I think what he's saying is that you can associate images of your boat, along with a fair amount of detail about the different options on your boat. Then, there's even a way to rate everyone's setup. It's kinda cool, check it out.
Also, it would be neat if you could click on the person's name and link to their profile description directly from one of these threads.
Finally, there's no way to search by location. So, if I wanted to see who was in my area, I couldn't right now. I've often seen posts where members try to get together, but it would be difficult to see who's actually in an area to organize any sort of event.

C'mon, we need some more representation on wakesiderides (http://www.wakesiderides.com) ...gotta show 'em how sweet our rides are! I'm seeing more Tiges on Lake Buchanan than all other inboard ski boats combined.
BTW, Tige is a sponsor of the wakesiderides site also.

tweirich, Sponsorship is not an issue here. Sure there is a link to Tige.com but, keep in mind the two sites are completely different. This site dedicated to Tige and Tige owners is just that, a site dedicated to Tige and Tige owners. And also keep in mind the reason why we are all here, Tige! In my humble opinion the best boat around! It took me 5 years to find my boat(I'd like to think my Tige found me)I will probably never switch makes. The end of this year may find me buying a 24V( I hope).
Now on to Wakeside, Yes it used to be MalibuBoatOwners(MBO) It was in fact the idea of the crew at Wakeside(hence the name Wakesiderides) The creative force behind MBO is now the "Drive" of WSR. The object of WSR is totally diferent than Tige Owners or TheMalibuCrew or any other "make" site. It is and will always be a community of boat entusiasts who want to share their boats with other boat owners of all makes to compare notes or just b.s. with each other.
The reason I come to TigeOwners is to find out more about "my" boat and other Tige's and get to know other Tige owners. This site is the #1 source for anything Tige hands down.
The reason I do what I can for the Tige section of WSR is to try and give other "make" owners a fair and accurate view of Tige boats in general. A few of you here have really helped me with that and it is greatly appreciated.
I read the post about adding this or changing that to make one or the other sites compare. Sure it could happen but why? This site is great like it is and so is WSR. Both have good and bad points thats what makes us come back! The human or personal factors.
I think admin here has done a fantastic job and I can only hope to make my little section of WSR half as good.
In closing, sorry this is so long(I felt I needed to get it out) and guys post your rides if you want. We have 31 right now so we only need about 730 more to compete with the Malibu guys (hahah)
Dustin, if you read this I would still really like to talk with you. Pick your brain if you will. My e-mail is john@wakesiderides.com
Thanks for the space to post this!
