broke my hand

broke my hand yesterday with a freak accident.. was doing a bs 3 and cased my board on the wake and the board bounced up and smacked my hand really hard:eek: ouch, sucks cuz now i have to ride with my left hand

Hand injuries suck. Especialy when it is the hand you favor.

Dude I did the same thing this last weekend. Cased the jump and smacked my hand on the back corner of my board. Sucks! I have to go see a hand specialist now to check my tendons cause I guess I rearranged a couple of them too. Looks like I am driver for a few weeks!

Ya they told me to take a couple weeks off....do I listen?!? NOPE! Was out again this weekend. Had some discomfort but I tried taken it easy on my hand.

Just wanted to throw my accident into the mix, I tore my meniscus in my right knee playing in a basketball game 11 days ago. I was instructed to stay on crutches for at least a week and not do anything to put "strain or stress" on my knee. I go to the lake every weekend and last weekend I listened to the Dr. and didnt ride but this weekend I got out there and just cruised around on the board, nothing exciting but still enough to slightly quench my craving to ride.
