ok - call me new

but i cant seem to figure out how to wrap my bimini top up while still keeping it attached to the boat - it looks as though if you want to wrap it up you have to take it off the boat completely.

ps - I have an '04 20v with the 04 tower - bimini is standard size and mounts I would think...

thanks

most bimini tops are too big to pass thru a tower while it is mount in place. normally, you have to disconnect the bimini then fold it up. this is how we do it with the phat tower. due to its shape and the fact that we designed a bimini top that is large enough to provide shade it will not fit between the tower, especially if you have tower speakers.

Post a picture of the tower. On my 04 24V i have collapsable center poles. I collapse the center poles and then the bimini fits thru the tower to put the cover on and strap to the tower. No disconnecting required

Take a look at my buddies 04 22V bimini. That may give you an idea.

The pole circled in red is the collapsable pole on my bimini. I just collapse the pole and the bimini fits under the tower to fold.

xpjim1--

Where did you get your bimini? I have a large one like that on my 24V, but it doesn't have the collapsable pole, so I have to open it and walk it under the tower to put it up. Also, it will not fit against the tower when folded, so when it's down, I have to either lay it on the seats or take it out of the boat. Yours looks much easier. Who makes it?

Thanks.

I have the metcraft tower and this was the stock bimini. I had the rear zip on extension made, I do not know who they use to make the bimini for the Metcraft Tower.

Heres a picture when both sections are stored. I made a mistake in my original post. This is an 05 24V
