Probably not, just need to make an upside down "drain trap" in the fill hose. Basically, the fill hose needs a loop that is higher then the sac when filled. This breaks the siphon and stops the drain back. Your boat has aerator type live-well pumps, so water will, and can, flow through them when off, unlike an impeller type pump.

I had the dealership put in riser loops on all the factory ballast tanks on our RZ2. The good is they no longer auto fill (or auto drain). The slight downside is that the fill and drain takes noticeably longer now. Still glad I did it.

If Tige will pay for them, it's the way to go, down side is, the Vented Loods are $45 ea. Tige is one of the few boats that have a high enough free-board that will allow for the hose to be looped high enough in the gunwale.
