I put a shower in my boat and dont know how I lived without it! Very easy to install and very very usefull! After a long boarding run you get out of the water and the shivers hit, just hose off with a hot shower and and crack a cold beer. Very Nice! :p

I agree on the shower, a must have. We don't shower after our ride. Last week at Jordonell at 7300 feet the water temp was only 56, so wetsuit up and fill with hot water and jump in it takes that first shock way down. My wife and daughter use it continually on long powell trips. We also have the heater and after pulling out of that nice cold water sit on the edge of your towell and tent it, real nice first thing in the morning when air temp isn't up.

I agree with the heater....When the wife said get it, I could not belive she wanted to get a heater..on a boat? I thought she was crazy, but that thing really is worth it. Makes early mornings and late nights really nice.

The heater comes in handy when the water is 53 and air is in the low 60s.

When you get a chance, do you think you could post a pic of your install of the Shower?
Thanks

Have you guys see/used the hot tubes for boat heaters? They are long tubes that stow in the heater line, then you can pull it out and run the hot air to where you need it. They even have a neat Hot blanket, you plug the tube into the blanket and it inflates, like a pillow of warm warm air all around you. The wife thinks we need one!!
I prefer 60° water and 80° air temps!

This link to a previous thread shows the installation of two showers- one on my boat and another by flackpack. As you can see, it isn't really very hard and very nice to have when you need it.

Draginass,
I unfortunately have to boat in the same water that Wing Nut does and this time of year it still runs cold. We have the heater tubes in our boat, I think thay are the ones you are talking about. Two of them are mounted just above the liittle storage door in front of the driver. You can pull them out and they extend about 4-5 feet. I havent seen the blanket but we usually zip someone up in a big windbreaker and insert the tube in a sleeve, it inflates the whole thing with warm air.
Wing Nut- I was at Jordanelle last week and experienced the same 50's water temp, ice cold.

We went Tuesday locally and enjoyed a temp of 64 water and 86 air. We still have alot of snowpack melting filling our reservoirs with really cold water.

Isn't that cold fun????? lol We were at Shasta last weekend, and the water was 69, the air 54. Don't know what happened to the California summer for a couple days, but now it's back in the 90's. I will say, the lake was empty while we were there.

Anybody have a shower in a 20i? I am wondering where to mount the controls for a heatercraft. The dealer suggested under the engine cover, but I am not sure I like that. They said it is easy for them to get damaged in the trunk by skis and wakeboards.
Any advice or pics would be appreciated.

I have a buddy that is more die hard than I. He went skiing the day after thanksgiving at Pineview a mountain lake. Air temp in the mid 40's and water temp in the low 40's, it froze over a week before Christmas. He uses a dry suit and just before getting in the water fills it with hot air from the heater and then has a cooler that is full of hot water from the shower. Then he stands in the cooler and soaks his neoprene gloves, then slips into the ice and off he goes. Southern living sounds great at times.

We have a shower and the wife loves it. They have a problem regulating the tempurature, too hot, too cold, no matter how they adjust the valves. It helps if we rev up the motor, but the shower is still tricky to get the right constant temp.
Any suggestions?
