I recently purchased a 99 2100V LTD and so far love the boat. My tach does not work and wondered if anyone has had tach problems and if their is an easy fix or something to look for other than replacing it.

does the hr meter work? if it is working then the needle is dead. time for a new tach:(
normally, if the tach shorts out the engine will not run.

Yes the hour meter seems to work fine, Is this part available throught TIGE or where would be a good place to get one?
