TAPS?

My TAPS gauge works but when it reads wakeboard it is actually Slalom and when it says slalom it's really wakeboarding. Just wondering if there is a way to reset the gauge? If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks, Adam

never heard of that before. are you sure about the plate position?
down is slalom, up is wakeboard. if the plate is moving in the same direction as the gauge indicates but pushing up on the switch causes the plate to go down then the switch is upside down. if that is the case, take a small flat tip screw driver and pop the switch out. turn over and push it back in.

How far up and down should the plate move? Mine doesn't seems to go up as far as I think it should. The up position is for wakeboarding correct? Please get back. Thanks, Adam

One more thing. Sometimes the TAPS gauge gets stuck and a little tap on the glass fixesit. Is there anything that can be done to do away with this?

the plate only moves a couple of inches total. as for the gauge sticking, where do you think the name "taps" came from:D :confused: usually a new gauge will fix that problem. it sticks from sitting too long with out being cycled.
