I have an 02 20V, I have about 1400lbs of ballast in the boat, but even w/o the weight the boat seems to be having a hard time getting out of the hole. I am kind of a big guy 6'2" 225lbs and when I am boarding it takes a while to get me up. What prop comes stock on the 02 20V and which pitch do I need to get my fat *** out of the water faster?
Thanks,
Chris

I have a 04 switch V with a MP vortec 5.7 ( 335 HP )
it has a Acme 537
13.5 X 16 four blade nibral 1 1/8 & .105 cup
When you go out, there is usually about 1,100lbs of people and no extra weight.
I am 6’1” and 250, and it gets me out of the water very fast.
WOT is around 48
hope this helps

the big question here is, do you have gear reduction v-drive?

Thanks whitlock,
I don't have a gear reduction V-Drive that I know about. would there be a tag on the V drive, like a rear end?
If your transmission is painted blue then you have the gear reduction.

It's not blue. does whitlock87s recomendation on prop size look right?

no, without the gear reduction you need to run the same prop as a direct drive. 13x13, 13x 12.5, 13x11.5. i would suggest the acme 13x11.5 3 blade. it will help with the ballast and you weight.
