OK dumb question warning here. Just bought some used v-drive sacs and a tsunami pump(T-1200). Stick with me here......To fill, the bottom of the pump attaches directly to the bag and the hose end goes over the side of the boat into the water. Good so far? Big question is how do you drain these things????? Do you just let it drain into the bilge? I can't see how that would be good. Will the pump draw out the water if I connect the hose end to the bag? I have a big  over my head. Someone enlighten me.......

You don't need ballast... You have a Tige!!! ;) hahaha just kidding.

You will need to drain the water out of the boat and not into the bilge area. I'd be worried about the water getting wiped up into the engine with the amount of water that you will put in there if you did empty it into the bilge area.

To fill: disconnect plug attached to chain from W730, attach hose end to sac's W730 fitting, drop pump into water, plug power cord into 12V ACC socket, pop cold one. When sac is full, unplug power cord, detach hose from W730 and reinstall cap attached to chain.

To drain, remove cap attached to chain, attached pump's inlet to W730 sac fitting, toss hose over board, plug in power cord. Apply slight downward pressure to pump until pump primes. You will notice a change in pump sound and see water flowing through clear hose. When sac is empty, unplug power cord.
