Just finished upgrading the stock clarion system. Rewired all speakers and replaced with kicker km 620's. Rewired with 00 wire direct from the battery and fused it. They powered current amps from distribution blocks and add a 1200w Audio Drift amp. If you can get your hands on one they are a true 1200 rms. It is made by Audio pipe at half the price, but they made 2000 of them and thats it. Wired my current MB quart tower speakers to the rear channel @ 4ohm and when Double Polk Bunts come in thursday i have them wired (not connected) to the front channel @ 2ohms. Ready to rock the river!!

Adam,
Just and FYI, I have 1/0 ga wire for $1.25 p/ft, so 40ft should cover a 20V install and run you about $50 + a little shipping. My non-fused distrobution blocks are $12.00. For circuit protection, I like to recommend a marine rated manual-reset circuit breaker. They run about $38 - $45 depending on current rating.

As soon as it warms up I I can do some measuring I'll get back to you.
