Hey - New to tigeowners. About to pull the trigger on a RZ4! Pretty stoked. Question: The dealer tells me the draft on this boat is between 25"-27"...anyone actually tested this in the real world? ie a steep bank or beach? Is it even possible?
Appreciate it!
Any additional comments on the RZ4 or RZ's in general also totally appreciated

I don't have an answer to your question but, welcome to Tigeowners. I would say those numbers would probably be pretty close unweighted.

yeah thats water level to lowest point. So at a steep beach you will be fine. Or you can do as most do and work out an anchoring system having it just offshore.

Should be close, depends on the load you have in the boat. We have a very shallow approach to our beach and have to anchor out. I usually like to be in no less than 3 feet of water. That and going in reverse are the only things you will have to really get used to except how much you are going to enjoy that boat!

I bent some stuff when the wind push me accross some underwater rocks.... 4000 lb @ 2 mph is enough energy to bend stuff...
be safe and have fun!

I'd say it's pretty close, though I never get mine within 10 feet of the shore. I anchor and we swim to shore or use the towable to get back and forth.
I have a RZ2. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
