2005 TIGE sound system QUERY.

I have just ordered myself a new 22v, I was wondering if the sound system can play MP3 format cd's?

You will need to ask your dealer.
Each dealer uses a different system. My dealer installs Alpine in all there boats, and some do play MP3’s and other don’t.
But it doesn’t mater, as I have noticed that both the MP3 cd and a regular CD both SKIP when hitting a roller.
The only answer that I have found is adding a flash player ( I pod ). this works the best if your radio has Aux inputs.

I have a Sony CDXMP70 in my boats it plays MP3 Disks and does not skip, not even running through a monster double-up.

I have ordered it direct from the TIGE factory as its an export boat.

The factory clarion unit does not play mp3's, although you can wire your ipod or whatever through an aux port for a cd changer on the back if you get the adapter.

I just got my 2005 22v qwith the factory clarion tower of power and it will play mp3 format.

needs to be the latest clarion marine head and it will play the mp3s. brd4fun, does that Sony have a read ahead delay or what?
