Anyone have a picture of the skybox seating and/or the brackets it requires?

I have a 2000 21i but it didn't come with the brackets.

Thanks.

That would be great!

Let me know how much.

Your help is much appreciated Tige M.D. Not just in this case, it's great to see all of the questions you answer for the other owners.

I'll buy you a beer if I'm ever out in your area. :D

Can you give me a price for the skybox brackets. I would like to add this to a 2000 22i. Thanks

Boarder X,

The SkyBox Seating system that they are referring to only works on our older 21i's and 22i's. It's not compatible with the 20-footers.

Sorry bout that.

So the question remains. Are there any still out there? They would not be hard to make.

skifart (great name by the way)-I'll take some pictures of mine this weekend and see if I can get you some specs to go along with them. The Skybox is always a hit with the crew. Plus it ain't the little fake-a-box with just the revesable seat base that is in the 21i. That thing is worthless. The whole base and back is the only way to go. It really is a pain in the *** but, once deployed, it's great.

Nick Howard- I've got an idea for a revival for this once showcase option. PM me if you are interested.

I have a '98 pre2100wt. I've never been able to figure out how the skybox seating is supposed to work. Post some pics and maybe I'll be able to figure it out from them.
thank

I've looked all over the place for the brackets with no luck. Tige did give me the name of the fabricator that originally made them, but I haen't been able to get an answer from them for 2 weeks now. Another dealer described the brackets and they don't sound very complicated. Can anyone provide any pics for me to use as reference to fabricate from? :(

I've got the pics, just havn't had the chance to sit down and go through them and then resize them and then post them yet. Keep your panties on fellas. ;) I haven't seen any pics of that up here so I made sure to get shots of all the hardware and hopefully I can put some dimensions on the pics themselves. I also did a step by step set up and tear down. It didn't take long to remember that it's a lot easier with two people, one of which I didn't have.

Wow these are really bad. Sorry, new camera. Just getting back to the digital age after a couple of years of film. These are the brackets on the back of the seat.

To all the guys working on the interiors at Tige, look at the leg room of the original Sky Box Seating. I can comfortably fit 4 people across this thing. Ya ain't doin' that with the Sky Box in the 21i. Plus I've got a full back. I really only use this set up when we are at the lake house and we are on the water for a week straight and have a bunch of people and our own dock to start and stop from. It's not all that great if you are on the water for the whole day with no dock or beach stops and only 4 or 5 people. It's kind of in the way for that type of scenario.

All in all this little photo essay sucks. Sorry. Once the boat sees the light of day I'll get some thing a little better up here.

Thanks, now I can see how it works!!!! I am not interested in all that work,so....I have 2 of these (adapters?) without the mounting brackets, if ANYONE wants them, they are free to a good home.
