Wow! That does look like a blast.

That boat handles like a Tige!

What kind of drive is in that...it is not a jet is it?

WOW! My question is...what is the co-pilot for? Even out the weight? That and I think one is throttle and the other is steering.

I have seen these videos from New Zealand and the water is so shallow and the draft of the boat and jet are so shallow they can make the courses in the middle of a field with very little work.

Sparky,

If you go to the website, it has a map showing the I-5/Covallis- Lebanon exit.

:ot: I stopped in at SMS last Tuesday to see Joel about some upholstery issues and some new guy was there. I told him to tell Joel he missed selling me the red/black and white RZ2 on their lot.

Sweet, that is like 5 exits away from me. I'll have to check it out. I saw Joel in the begining of the season and will be there this week to take my boat in for winter work. Are you talking about the 08 RZ2, I think I asked about it earlier and they wanted $60k.......I would have thought about it but we are so upside down in our 24VE that it wouldn't make sense. I am thinking about putting the new graphics on my 07, but they quoted my $900, and that is $900 more then I have for stickers right now....oh well. Is your boat in Stayton right now?

That is pretty amazing. I am sure they are using the Berkley Jet drive to run the boats with. After watching the crashes I figured out that the tower was not for a pro wake boarder but it is a roll cage. :).

I think adding a boarder to the back would make it even more interesting. :D

Sparky,
My boat is not there. I was in Stayton last week for a footabll game and stopped to see about having some things fixed on mine. Joel is in Hawaii. No new boat for me,,, just looking (my wife wants one but I have to say not now). Not sure if it was an 08 or 09? It's red/white & black.

Had to bring back this thread when I ran across this video. Here's a cockpit camera view of a crash...notice how close they come to nailing some of the race volunteers

nope no tracking fin. they look like a 15' aluminum fishing boat with a 500+hp v8 shoehorned in the back with an intake grate and jet drive hangin off the back.
