A friend of mine's son was wakesurfing and found a new tradition for the wakesurfer: paying homage to the wave that gave a good ride. This is in the spirit of the polynesian tradition of ocean surfing to thank the ocean and the wave for the opportunity to surf.
Here is where I wax emotional about the good fortune that I have had to own boats and participate with other great people who I have met through my boating experience and the good times we have had as a family.
This was at the lake Mead Tige owners reunion.
