Play in throttle - how to fix

Hello,

Lately I have had quite a bit of play in my throttle. Specifically the throttle can move myabe a 1/4" of an inch before it engages the engine. Can I somehow adjust the cable to so it is tighter and engages the engine quicker? Thanks!

the shift cable has room for adjustment on both ends. adjust the one behind the throttle controller. just pull the cotter pin out and turn the barrel nut the direction you want to go. most likely your going to want to shorten the throw.
