Play in throttle - how to fix

Hello,

Lately I have had quite a bit of play in my throttle. Specifically the throttle can move myabe a 1/4" of an inch before it engages the engine. Can I somehow adjust the cable to so it is tighter and engages the engine quicker? Thanks!

there is room for adjustment at both ends of the cable. if you have alot of hrs. say 400+ you might need to replace the barrel nuts where the cable attatches to the throttle controller.
