Perfect Pass Wiring Question

I got the thing all installed today on my 2001 23V except for the tach signal wire. The instructions don't mention Tige'/Faria. I have three choices on the back of the tach gauge.

Purple - I'm pretty sure is the switched power or the instrument lights.

Black - I'm certain is ground

Blue - I'm guessing this is the correct choice, but I want to make sure before I power the thing up and fry something.

Blue wire is the tach signal on mine.

That seemed like the logical choice. I just wanted someone to hold my hand and tell me it would be OK before I powered it up. :p
