Over the top bimini

Does anyone have any experience with a bimini that goes over the top of the tower. We are currently having one cusom made but have not seen them on many boats. It seems like it solves the problem of sitting too low when speakers are mounted and gives a lot more head room. Any feedback would be great. Attached is an example of the one we are having made.

How would you hook the tow rope with the bimini top out?

I saw one like that last year, the tower tow point goes through the bimini. It looked pretty cool, but the rope did hit the bimini when they were boarding (mostly on starts) and it started to shread. Might want to take account for that when they build it. The one I saw was a custom build on a I/O.
