WW article from Tige: http://www.wakeworld.com/getarticle.asp?articleid=2372
Okay, do we have any information pertaining to TigeTouch as stated by Charlie in the article? Would be interesting to find out more information.
Congrats to Kimberly Knight for the new position. Tige has done well under these economic times. :ro:

I'm wondering why we have to read about it on Wakeworld, why isn't that posted somewhere here on TO?

It was posted yesterday. Also there is another news story posted on here that isn't posted anywhere else yet.

I have already inquired about it. I'll make sure we get them posted here before anywhere else. We have been doing it that way for a few years.

Always excited to see new innovation, but IMHO they are just finding more ways to raise the price of boats that becoming out of reach for most. A touch screen will not tickle my buying bone but a better interior, better Ballast system would be a good start for me.

Let's see what Tige offers. IMO, Tige does listen to us here on TO and has done so for the number of years that I have been on.
Example: Tige upgrade their vinyl to the same thickness as other boat manufacturers and from the survey that they receive back, there isn't a huge number of complaints when it comes to selling their boats. :02:

Touch screen? Sort of cool.
I second the improvment on interior and ballast. Especially the infloor ballast that sucks on the rz4

I understand you are 19, but an empty statement like this is as useful as tits on a bore. If you have experienced problems with your RZ4, then voice them, If you have suggestions, share them. This is called constructive feedback, and is exactly what a company, such as Tige, needs in order to improve the product that you so boldly stated "sucks" :02:
This is not meant to call you out or piss you off, just make you think. If thats the kinda feedback we give Tige, then their product will never improve, and they will no longer look here for our thoughts.

Maybe Tige will create a more affordable brand called Allies. Then we could have the Axis and Allies go to war.

I think the people at tige have been around wake boats long enough to figure out when a wake sucks, when its a bad as the rz4s.

Spenchey, since you feel that way, I would suggest that you PM Harvey or Charlie directly and keep it off this thread and the forum.
Personally, I haven't seen a bad wake on the RZ4 and if the professional riders at Tige can ride behind one and in some cases own one (Daniel Watkins), I think the issue don't exist with them so there has to be an issue with what you are trying to accomplish. :02:
Not trying to argue, call you out, or any derogatory comments. However, we as a forum might be able to help you accomplish what you want if you can explain what you have going on and provide feedback. That can be done in another thread. As for this thread, it's about TigeTouch and Kim Knight.

Well, my apologies for misunderstanding. Your post indicated "ballast" so I thought you meant the ballast system, not the wake. From post 11 of this thread, http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10365 it seems that the owner of the RZ4 that your are referring to, has gotten the wake just about figured out.

Yes after adding thousands of pounds of ballast to it, and IMO it still isn't as good as it should be, espcially when you pay that much for that boat.

For my money on a new RZ2, I get a great wake with factory ballast and TAPS ... and by bumping the TAPS to 1, I also get a nimble handling boat that handles chop and bad water far better than other equally or more expensive boats.
I think this aspect of a Tige is often overlooked (i.e., the time you are not pulling). I have had some white knuckle rides in bad weather on other wakeboard boats where I deeply questioned their sea-worthiness.
And don't get me started how much I love both sides of my surf wake with factory ballast and a 1000lb bag!
