Hey guys,

I did the install for Afrodan. Heard the photos weren't showing up so I put some in an album:

Thanks again for your patience Dan. I know it took a while to get the pad finished. Looks tight though!

Hmmm..... one piece. Why?

ok, after looking at the pictures. I think I get it now. There is a "filler" if you will to fill in the recessed area of the platform to make it the same hight all the way accross over the center line.

I like it. I hate it being split into two sides.

Yeah, the problem with that center strip is that it can be just one more place to slip. Plus fins and board can really scratch and chip away at it. I thought filling the recesses and going one piece just made sense.

Yep, it sure does. Great idea. I would like to do that. Thanks.

They are on the front bar of the Z-tower. I don't think the owner adjusted the angles of them to shoot straight back. :02:

Platform looks great! Nice job!!!

Those are the removable Samson speakers that swivel any direction you like. They are actually pretty cool.

um, me thinx those are factory Skylon/Tige cans, one set with the original Kicker RS's and the other with the new KM's.

How do you feel about the quality of those swim platform traction pads? I am thinking about redoing mine on my boat with this stuff :02:

Well, I'm pretty biased because I work for SeaDek but the pads really are top quality. Nobody else is doing what we do right now. Very comfortable to stand on. A lot better than hard molded rubber or plastic.

I started a Seadek craze over on the Moomba forum back in April of last year when i stumbled across them accidently while searching for a replacement for the thin black rubber crap on the deck. The wife hated it, i hated it and the kids hated it. Since then probably 25-30 Moomba owners have bought them not to mention a bunch of Supra owners jumped in. It's since spread to WakeWorld as well and now i see Tigéowners is in the know.

I called Chuck Yates of Seadek and talked about the product and decided to have a one piece custom made as i didn't like the three piece nor did i see the reason for it. This thing is like having a tempurpedic bed on your deck! It's tough and doesn't bleed color or chalk up. Comes in multiple colors and even custom designs if you want. So far after two seasons it's held up very well and i have no complaints at all. I like it far better than any of the other options available. If your looking for a deck pad replacement you can't go wrong with this :ro:

Btw, at that time Seadek was also the oem mfgr for the deck pads for Malibu & Epic and probably others as well.

Great looking deck. I like the idea of the one piece cover. As above, my central strip is scuffed and chipped after less than one season.

Mine came with a three piece as well and hard as nails. It lasted one outing and the wife said find something else! Never had a chance to scuff anything 'cept knees!
